Bahkruums needs map guidance because survival happens in Backrooms-like interior space, but the current first-party sources do not publish official map names, a floor plan, spawn points, connected-room list, exits, or permanent safe spots. The official media shows yellow-lit interior geometry, and current gameplay titles repeatedly use Backrooms and no-clip language. That supports a navigation hub, not a fabricated map database.
This section organizes only routes that a player can describe and reproduce. Use visible geometry until the developer supplies names. Every route and refuge remains dated because Bahkruums is still in beta.
Choose the map page you need
- Map List defines what counts as a separate map or area and keeps unsupported names out of the index.
- Landmarks shows how to name positions by lighting, openings, room shape, and stable props.
- Routes provides a route-card format for direction, junctions, reversibility, and failure points.
- Safe Spots distinguishes a temporary quiet location from a repeat-tested refuge and keeps an exit plan.
Use Nextbot Behavior when a route claim depends on threat pathing. Geometry and AI evidence should never be merged from one encounter.
What is currently documented
The approved Roblox media includes a yellow-lit corridor or room scene with wall openings and distant furniture-like geometry. This is official visual evidence for an interior-navigation setting. It does not establish the scene’s map name, coordinate, route, or safety.
Recent walkthrough signals are game-specific and show players treating Bahkruums as a Backrooms and nextbot chase experience. They support the need for landmark and route guidance. Video titles and thumbnails alone cannot define a room, map, or exit.
No complete official map count is published. The index therefore uses currently documented areas and neutral records rather than “all maps.”
Build landmarks that work during a chase
A good landmark is visible while moving and distinguishable from nearby rooms. Prefer a lighting transition, unusual wall opening, room proportion, repeated corner pattern, or stable prop cluster. Avoid names based on a nextbot encounter because the entity may move.
Use two-part labels: feature plus position, such as “bright split” or “wide opening.” These are player callouts, not official names. Record a screenshot or complete scene, entry direction, and date so other players can match the same geometry.
Test a landmark from both approach directions. If it looks identical to many intersections, add another cue or reject it. The Landmarks guide contains the full validation method.
Build a reversible route
Begin with two landmarks and one or two meaningful junctions. Walk from A to B, then reverse from B to A. Write turns from the traveler’s perspective and note visible continuation at each decision. A route that works in only one direction is incomplete.
Add one branch at a time. Record dead ends only after entering and returning in a calm situation; never learn an unseen branch during a chase if a known route is available. Route quality comes from reproducibility, visibility, and recovery options, not from a dramatic clip.
Use a compact card: version date | start | turns | end | reverse turns | failure point | confidence. The Routes guide includes comparison criteria for solo and group movement.
Evaluate a safe-spot claim
No permanent safe spot is verified at this checkpoint. A location may appear safe because the threat changed target, lost contact, was blocked temporarily, or the server behaved differently. Treat every candidate as a route contingency.
Record the exact geometry, threat cue, player positions, entry path, and exit. Repeat in a current server and check whether the same type of threat can enter. Do not trap or lure threats toward unaware players for testing.
Even a repeat-tested refuge needs an exit route. Beta updates can change collision, pathing, or access. The Safe Spots guide uses confidence levels instead of guarantees.
Route planning during a chase
At the first cue, face a known continuation. Choose before reaching the junction. Use Shift Sprint after committing. Keep the next opening visible and use only short rear camera checks.
Prefer the route you have reversed. When every option is unknown, select visibility and multiple continuations over an unseen dead end. That is decision guidance under uncertainty, not proof that a certain corridor shape is always best.
In a group, call the landmark and direction. Avoid forcing every player through the same narrow opening. Split only across branches someone has walked and establish a regroup landmark.
Map-version discipline
The Roblox Games API showed an August 6, 2026 update timestamp at the August 7 check. That timestamp does not prove geometry changed, but it is a reason to date every route. After an update, walk the route in both directions before restoring a verified label.
If only one turn changed, update that route card rather than inventing a new map. If a previous area can no longer be reached, retain the historical note outside the current index until an official explanation appears.
What remains unknown
Official map count, map names, area names, spawn locations, room connectivity, exits, round rotation, teleport rules, safe zones, and threat restrictions are not asserted. A partial current route can still be useful without those fields.
Do not import room names or maps from GMod, Hussrooms, Nico’s Nextbots, or other Backrooms experiences. Inspiration establishes context, not shared geometry.
Maps FAQ
What maps are in Bahkruums?
No authoritative list is publicly available. This wiki tracks currently documented geometry and adds names only with reliable evidence.
Is there a map image?
No complete official floor plan was found. Build route cards from current, reproducible landmarks.
Where are safe spots?
No permanent safe location is verified. Every candidate needs repeat current tests and an exit plan.
What is the best escape route?
Use the route you can reverse, with visible continuation and known failure points. A universal route cannot be claimed without a stable current map and threat behavior.
How do I report a route?
Provide date, start/end landmarks, turns in both directions, current server context, failure points, and confidence.
